Common Questions
Solid colors photograph best — avoid busy patterns, logos, or anything trendy that will date the photo. Bring 2–3 options and we’ll look through them together before we start.
Get a good night’s sleep. Don’t have a hangover. Men: haircuts at least 3 days before the shoot. Shave the morning of or groom your beard intentionally. Women: keep makeup natural and close to how you look day-to-day. It’s easier to remove a temporary blemish in photoshop than it is to cover it up — heavy foundation is not recommended. The goal is you at your best, not a different version of you.
Express: Wear what you want to shoot in, you can bring a backup just in case — we will aim for 1-2 looks.
Professional: Bring 1-3 outfits. Covers two complete looks in 45 minutes.
Executive: Time is unlimited — bring as many as you want and we’ll work through them together.

You will receive an email with a link to an online photo gallery. We will pre-select your photos during the session, everything in the gallery is yours to keep. You can share and download images from the gallery. I always archive your photos, so if they ever get lost I can get them to you.
Express gets you one perfect headshot in 10-20 minutes — ideal for LinkedIn or a single profile update. Professional is two looks in up to 45 minutes — the sweet spot for most professionals. Executive is unlimited time and outfit changes for a full image library and we will explore a large range of portrait styles.
Retouching is professional-grade — temporary blemish removal, color correction, softening under the eyes, stray hairs, your headshots will look like you on your best day.
Express: same day. Professional: same or next day. Executive: within 5 days. Reasonable revisions honored after delivery.
Yes. Reschedule once without penalty — even day of your session. Cancel within 3 days of booking for a 90% refund of your retainer; after that the retainer is non-refundable but can be applied to a future session. You can always reschedule with no penalty with at least 3 days notice. If you reschedule subsequent times within 3 days of the session, there is a $50 penalty for each subsequent reschedule.
