Why These Programs Exist

A LUXURY GOOD.

A professional headshot can change how you’re seen — in a job application, on a LinkedIn profile, on a community service bio, in a casting submission. That access shouldn’t depend on whether you can comfortably absorb a standard session fee.

These programs exist because the people they’re built for deserve the same quality session as anyone else — and the math works fine on my end. The session is the same. The result is the same. The cost just acknowledges who you are and what you’re building.

How do I prove eligibility?

For first responders and veterans: a department ID, DD-214, military ID, or other documentation showing service. For students: current student ID or .edu email address. We’re not strict about the format — just need something that confirms it. Bring it to the session or email a photo in advance.

Is the session quality different from regular sessions?

No. Same direction, same coaching, same retouching standard, same delivery. The only thing different is the pricing acknowledging who you are.

Do these programs apply to corporate or team bookings?

Individual sessions only. Corporate and team bookings use the company headshot pricing structure. If your organization is specifically a public service agency (fire department, police department, school district, etc.) reach out and we’ll talk about it.

Can I combine programs — student AND veteran, for example?

Pick the one that gives you the best rate. Programs don’t stack, but happy to honor whichever discount works best for you.

What about gender-affirming sessions?

Yes — explicitly. Every session is judgment-free, patient, and adapted to who you are right now. If there are specific things you want addressed in your session — pronoun usage, particular framing, retouching considerations — tell me in advance and we’ll make sure the whole session works for you.

What if cost is still a barrier?

Reach out anyway. We have flexibility. If a great headshot matters for what you’re building and the standard program rate is still a stretch, send a message explaining your situation. There are options we don’t advertise.
